SUSTAINABILITY
Our commitment to sustainability begins with the adoption of natural dyes in all our application processes.
Our Commitment To Sustainability Precedes Us.
In business, it has become imperative to integrate sustainability into the fashion and interior design industries. Textiles are indispensable to these industries, but merely producing them is not enough. At Afrikstabel, we constantly seek ways to contribute to the care of the earth. After extensive research, we have introduced some unique solutions that set us apart in our commitment to sustainability.
Natural Dyes
Our commitment to sustainability begins with the adoption of natural dyes in all our application processes. Historically, these enduring dyes have been used to create some of the most exquisite designs on fabrics. Despite the prevalence of synthetic dyes today, we remain steadfast in our pledge to sustainability.
Why choose natural dyes? The answer is simple: natural dyes are non-allergenic and non-toxic, making them ideal for sensitive skin. Additionally, their biodegradability ensures minimal environmental impact.
Dye Wastewater Treatment Plant
As part of our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint, Afrikstabel is proud to be home to the only existing wastewater dye treatment plant in Nigeria and one of the few in Africa. This plant exemplifies our dedication to sustainability by converting dye toxins into water that is safe for the environment. Once clients approve the minimum order quantities (MOQs) and designs, we proceed with our hand dyeing process, with all wastewater directed to our treatment plant. This plant undergoes stages of treatment before transforming the waste into potable water.

Recycle Dye Wastewater
We know the effect of waste in our environment and the many benefits recycling does to the environment.
MOQ
Our MOQ supports both emerging and established brands to solve the issue of overproduction and waste due to manufacturer-set MOQ.
We have a system that enables designers to return their unused fabrics, where we redesign and reimagine them into new fabrics.
How the waste water treatment works
Primary Stage :
The waste water from Production Room(Studio) into the first Coagulation section to trap wax and dirt with the help of net and settle into other Coagulation tanks which the waste is decolorized and disinfected with disinfectant (Dosing)
Secondary Stage:
The dosing Chemicals are allowed to react for a good number of hours then the waste goes through the sand bed filtration system for clarity then the water is deposed.
